Napa Valley Ruins & Gardens (NVRG)

The Napa Valley Ruins & Gardens is a commercial and retail destination serving American Canyon, the Napa Valley, and the greater Northern California region. The site will be an ever-changing venue for concerts, art shows and food/drink experiences throughout the year in addition to a distillery, brew pub, and wine tasting facility.

  • Art

Art is deeply embedded in the Watson Ranch Project. World class urban art stretches across every wall of the old ruins, once a cement factory, that occupy the grounds. Artists will be welcomed at NVRG as we appreciate the ever-changing nature of the landscape with the goal to someday have one of the largest outdoor sculpture gardens in the world. Visitors can walk through the old ruins and watch as new and old art unfolds before them.

  • Music

There will be two main amphitheaters at Watson Ranch. The quarry lake amphitheater, which is our large venue and the smaller stone amphitheater nestled in the old ruins furnace room. More pop-up music venues can be added upon request. NVRG plans to hold outdoor music festivals and concerts all year round.

  • Food & Drink

NVRG guests will have an array of food and beverage options. The site will have a brewery/pub, winery and distillery/tasting room with multiple tasting and purchasing options. Wine and spirits will be available for tasting and purchase. Guests can purchase a variety of foods prepared by some of the industry’s top chefs near the outdoor sculpture garden. Food trucks and a weekly farmer’s market will also supply guests with additional food options.

  • Events

Whether you’re looking to host a corporate retreat, wedding or any gathering, NVRG is one of the most beautiful locations on the West Coast. We have a wide range of venues from outdoor sites with breathtaking vineyard backdrops to rooms within our art covered ruins. Event and wedding parties can reserve sections of our hotel for their guests.

An entertainment venue like no other.

A unique feature of this site is the physical remains of the property’s former industrial history. The surviving concrete walls and partial structures from the early 1900’s operations are commonly referred to as “the ruins”. These ruins form an important and highly visible feature within the Napa Valley Ruins & Gardens with expected uses to include destinations such as a microbrew pub, distillery, wine tasting facility, restaurants, wedding venue, corporate and private event center, farmer’s market and 200-room hotel. The site will also host community events such as art shows and seasonal festivals.
